Acoustics Development
I modeled my sound visualization pattern in rhino with small wooden panels. I also tried to render in keyshot initially but wasn't getting the results I was wanting so switched to V-ray for some rendering.

Acoustics
For the main space I want the music to be even and easy to listen to, this mean the acoustics of the space need to enhance this rather that destroying the sound with reflections. The basis of having a good listening environment is hearing the sound straight from the speakers without interruption, If you had a surface that was bouncing sound before it reached your ears the overall sound would be muddy and hard to listen to. To combat this I need to use softer materials but for surface's like the walls I had idea to disperse the sound so that it does not reflect much like the concept of having foam spikes on the walls of a music studio. I want to have a surface that absorbed the sound but is also informed by the peaks and troughs created by the speakers of my space. I have collected some images about sound visualizations and have also created some patterns I may want to explore in my walls.

Development
I first wanted to start on the main form idea I had for this building. The idea was to have a huge sweeping curve come from the bottom, move onto the wall and eventually be the floor for the second floor. The idea for this form was to create a sense of awe when stepping into the building which is the ihi a & wehi concept, also I used the generator term twisting to help influence this form. This form would not only be 2 floors but I will also utilize it to store records or something similar.
